The App Store publishes no public install counter. I did not invent one. The listing text mentions “over 1 million downloads”; that line is marketing copy on the card, not an App Store install field, so I am not treating it as a store counter.

What the card is
Laminar Research sells this as a flight simulator, not a timed arcade. The description leans on the same family of flight model used in their desktop product, interactive 3-D cockpits, and regions you fly inside. Combat missions exist on the feature list, but they are not the whole card.
How a session reads
Two aircraft and five scenery regions are listed as free: Cessna 172SP, Cirrus Vision SF50, plus Oahu, Grand Canyon, Seattle/Tacoma, Juneau, and Innsbruck. Further aircraft sit behind in-app purchases. Global scenery and the large airport set sit behind a subscription. Multiplayer is described as professional-subscriber territory, with trial flights mentioned for everyone else.
Who it suits
An Aviator who wants knobs, cold-and-dark starts, and failure modes. The card lists more than 50 systems that can be failed on command, nine tutorials, and helicopters among the paid airframes. It is the heaviest download on this apron at 1.08 GB.
Limits
Version 12.3.8 on 3 June 2026, notes: some users lost access to subscriptions and this update fixes that. Average 4.0 from 24,632 is the lowest mean on the four-card apron. The 9+ descriptor is unique here.
What it is not: a worldwide map in the free slice. Five regions are free; the globe is the subscription. It is also not hosted on this site.
